It's been a long time since we've had any problems in our area, but today the power went out in our power grid for several hours. As always, the servers were all on battery backups, but the routers that feed the network went down for the duration and then didn't reset properly. 
So I spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting the problem before escalating to our Internet provider. After an hour or so on the phone with them we got the problem resolved. |
