"E-Form" Barre Chords

With "E-Form" barre chords, you are simply moving the E Major chord up the neck while laying your index finger across all six strings, once again creating a new "top" of the neck underneath a chord that is formed like an E chord as shown the following illustration...

The chords are almost identical - take the E chord and slide it up the neck one fret, then lay your index finger across all six strings at the 1st fret and you have an F, sliding up one fret once more makes F#, and then once again makes G. You could easily keep sliding up one fret at a time to create chords across the entire length of the neck.
