Lesson 7 - The Big, Bad Barre Chords
(Back to home / Back to contents)
Unlike the "E-Form" barre chords and "A-Form" barre chords, "C-Form" barre chords are not used as often. That being said, all "C-Form" barre chords do is move the C Major chord up the neck and create a new 1st position by laying your index fingers across five strings.
Once again, the chords are almost identical - take the C chord and slide it up the neck one fret, then lay your index finger across the top five strings at the 1st fret and you have a Db. One more fret makes D, then one more makes Eb.
